LAEMMLE FILM SCREENING

In 2016, I had an idea for solving my city’s housing crisis–using backyards for tiny houses on wheels. To prove it could work, I built one myself. Out of a wheelchair-accessible porta potty. The result is a tiny house with state-of-the-art technology to keep the home 100% off-grid. The home holds two legal patents and inspired the creation of a nonprofit program. View the linkbar above for my housing experiments.

I am an award-winning filmmaker and performer. My most recent series concept, “Who Wants to Be a Millennial?”, offers a lighthearted look at how the Millennial generation is hacking everyday challenges to live abundant, fulfilling lives. The pilot premiered July 1, 2023 at the Chinese Theatre as an Official Selection for the 2023 Dances With Films Festival.

My intentional living journey began in the strangest of ways–sleeping behind my desk at work. Secretly. I sublet my apartment for a month. But what was supposed to be a month turned into 500 days. My writing on the topic has appeared in LA Weekly, Salon, Yahoo! Finance, and a ton of other sites. Read them all on the PRESS page and learn more about the office living experiment and blog on the AUTHOR page.
