-Actor
-Director
-Host
-Writer
-Producer

What unites my projects is the theme of social consciousness. Whether hosted travel content or observational ethnography, my work tackles substantive issues of existential and culturally prescient issues.  With some comedic edge sprinkled in for good measure.

ONE BUT MANY

ONE BUT MANY is a feature documentary that reveals how the escalating global crisis of Human-Wildlife Conflict is being weaponized against the very people and animals it affects most. I am a Co-Producer on the project.

The film exposes deep ties between the trophy hunting industry and policy decisions driven by both the U.S., and African governments, leaving communities and wildlife in deadly peril. But in parts of Kenya, where trophy hunting has been banned for decades, extraordinary models of coexistence are not only emerging—they’re thriving.

With raw truth and radical hope, One But Many dares to reimagine how humans and wildlife share space in an increasingly complex world.

The film is an official selection at the 2025 Dances With Films festival, premiering on June 29 at 2:30pm at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

THE UNKNOWN DEPTHS is an award-winning cine-poem and my directorial debut.

The Unknown Depths is an elegy to existential crisis and unrequited adieux. With an evocative original score from Grammy Award winning composer Markus Illko, this dramatic short, in a sleek experimental, le realisme poétique style, uses footage from all habitable continents to display the universality of the human experience.

Written, Directed, and Produced by Matt, the film was an Official Selection at the 2023 Sunscreen Film Festival and a Gold Remi Award Winner at the 2023 WorldFest – Houston International Film Festival and an Official Selection at the 2023 Silent City Film Festival. Matt also won “Best Director” at Cineverse’s 2024 HybridGrenre film festival in Los Angeles. The full film is available to watch online here at STASH FILM SHORTS.

RED EARTH

RED EARTH is a science fiction feature film and glimpse into the future of post-apocalyptic Earth, after humans colonize Mars and return to the Mother Planet on a fated mission. I was a Producer, Contributing Writer, and Actor in the project.

Red Earth imagines a world in the late Anthropocene, where large parts of Earth have become inhospitable to life. The story follows three generations of Martians, from the first colonists to the first expedition to return to an Earth decimated by interplanetary war.

The film won a Jury Mention for Cinematography at the Oscar-qualifying 2023 Atlanta Film Festival and Best Sci Fi Feature at the 2024 New York Sci Fi Festival. It also screened at the 2023 Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival, the 2023 Cine Underground in Italy in October 2023 and at the Brooklyn Sci Fi Festival in September 2024. It is available to watch on Amazon, Apple TV+, and Tubi

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLENNIAL? is a comedic look at how the Millennial generation is hacking everyday routines to live lives of meaning and abundance. I was the Creator, Host, and EP on the project.

The pilot for Who Wants to Be a Millennial? premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, as an Official Selection at the 2023 Dances With Films festival.

The concept is “Dirty Jobs” meets “Parts Unknown” with a “Daily Show” segment twist, this day-in-the-life-of series isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions about the difficult hand Millennials were dealt–and whether or not they deserve their controversial reputation.

Release of pilot as documentary coming in 2025.

TK'S HOSTED WORKS

THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED  was an Anthony Bourdain style, self-contained docu-series following me in my Ford Tiny Home as I road-tripped across America, unearthing everyday people pioneering exceptional lifestyle downsizing shortcuts to define their own alternative version of the American Dream.

This series was pitched through the Creative Artists Agency and Brian Graden Media. It is being completed as a mini-series for streaming by 2026.

Additionally, below are highlight episodes to independently produced series I’ve put together. Thanks for watching!

TK TRAVELS ASIA

In my favorite Devine Diaries Travelographer Edition series, I travel the east coast of Asia, sharing experiences and perspectives on the odder aspects of living in Japan, Hong Kong, and a Vietnam in this 9-part series.

My Travelographer Edition series are semi-planned, spontaneously produced docu-series I edit together myself whenever I visit a new place. Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to keep in touch with more videos. I also release videos early on the “Stories” of my @Devine_Diaries Instagram page.

TK CLIMBS

TINY LIVING
W/TK

Curious about how the world’s first porta potty tiny home was conceived, built, and tested in residency? I have documented each stage of the process to share online, from the very first day my team and I visited the porta potty factory. All the way up to living in the finished home.

Two collections of tiny living videos are on my  YouTube Channel. One features Videos of TK’s Porta-Home and the other highlights Tiny Living Talks & Interviews I’ve given over the years.  I also release videos early on the “Stories” of my @Devine_Diaries Instagram page.

TK TRAVELS AMERICA'S 4 CORNERS

My first Travelographer series takes us to the best parks in the vicinity of America’s “4 Corners” region, courtesy of my new beta-version truck home and an invite to the showcase at the 2018 Peoples Tiny House Festival in Colorado Springs. Includes snapshots of just about every National Park in the area–plus a few more gems.

Watch the 8-part series unfold on the Devine Diaries Travelographer Edition: 4 Corners series on YouTube. Videos were originally made for @Devine_Diaries Instagram Stories, which is why they’re filmed in portrait mode.
